For Everyone Who Wrote Me Back
Yesterday, I was planning to share the next part of Uncovered: Therapy Session today. But then I read a message from Peter [ @petefedorchuk ] - one of the many kind, thoughtful letters I’ve received since the book came out in April. And it reminded me of something I’ve been meaning to say.
Over the last few months, messages have come in from all over - the U.S., Germany, Italy, Canada, the UK, France… then from cities like Madrid, Zurich, Sydney, Amsterdam, Vienna, Mexico City. Some of you wrote to me the day your book arrived. Some shared what it brought up. Some just said thank you.
I’ve read every word. I just haven’t had the chance to reply to everyone directly. So, I wrote this.
I don’t know how to write this without feeling it all. For years, I made Uncovered with no promise anyone would care - no publisher, no marketing team, just me, my story, and my wounds. Framed by Dima Bocharov. Shaped by Vitally Ivanov and Andrew Serkin.
I didn’t make it to impress - I made it to breathe. To let something heavy leave my body and take shape in the world.
And then the messages started coming in. You didn’t just get the book - you sat with it. You took your time. You felt the pages. Some said it made you feel seen. Some said it reminded you of stories you still haven’t spoken out loud. You noticed the paper. The design. The ribbon. The care. And you carried its weight - not just in your hands, but in your heart.
Thank you. Thank you for seeing the details, the effort - but most of all, for seeing me.
When you called it healing, honest, brave - that’s when I knew it truly landed. Not as a product, but as a piece of truth you welcomed into your own story. You didn’t just validate my work. You reminded me why I started. And I promise - I’m not done yet. More pages are coming. But today, I just needed to say this first.
With all my heart, - Lex
P.S. I’ve put together a page on my website where some of your messages now live — fragments of connection that remind me this book didn’t just get delivered… it landed. If you’d like to read what others have shared, or leave a reflection of your own, you’ll find it here:
