Five Layers of Flash
A limited-edition print set by Georg Meyer-Wiel, created in dialogue with Uncovered Part II. Body
This collaboration didn’t begin with a plan. It began with a message - one morning, without expectations. Just curiosity. What followed were months of conversations, shared references, portraits, doubts, pauses, laughter, and long talks about the body - not as an object, but as the place where life leaves its marks. Where time, desire, fear, pride, and softness coexist.
Five Layers of Flash grew out of that space - shaped by time, trust, and paying attention. Created in dialogue with Uncovered Part II. Body, the works follow five emotional archetypes. Moments where strength and softness exist together. Where control slips. Where something true shows itself without needing words. Georg translated those states into drawings that feel quiet but alive - like the body paused between movement and rest. Between knowing and becoming.

Grit. Heat. Chained. Dense. Ashore.
Together, they follow breath as it shifts from tension to release.
What makes this project special to me is not only the work itself, but the connection behind it. Collaboration, when it’s real, changes you. It slows you down. It asks you to trust another person with your inner material. Somewhere along the way, this stopped being “my project” or “his work” and became shared language. More than that, it exists as a reminder: that creative work can still come from patience, friendship, and attention.
P.S. In this image above, I’m not presenting the book. I’m just sitting with it. Resting it against my body feels symbolic. The body has always been the first place where I learned things - before language, before clarity. It remembers what we try to forget. It carries what we don’t always know how to say. Uncovered was never about showing more skin; it was about listening more closely to what the body already knows.
